Getting good at anything, is for the most part relatively easy, once you know what to do and you do it!

Sequence is everything. You can do the right thing at the wrong time and fall flat on your face, you can do the “wrong thing” at the right time and it works magically. And of course there are many variations in between, but only a few lead to high performing success.

So in this video I’ve outlined a powerful “meta strategy” for getting good at anything. Success as we say in NLP leaves clues and I’ve noticed that the following pattern is typically present in every top performer I’ve studied, in one way or another. Whether you are learning NLP or ballroom dancing, or everything in between, if you put into practice the simple strategy outlined here, you will see dramatic improvement in your results.

Hi Tom useful video and great info .I really like the step on practice and immersing yourself in the area you are working on. I work with professional sports athletes and teams and success only comes with clarity, focus and proper practice of the key skills. Cheers Don

    Tom,

great vid, great simple strategy and what i see is that people who don’t get that improvement they want leave out or skip over 1 or 2 steps – to me the steps are like links in a chain, and if 1 breaks, they whole thing comes apart!

    keep em coming 😉

I am a NLP leaner and I found your strategies are practical and very down to earth and action motivated. I will write down the key points as my guide to practice my dreams.

Í will enjoy to become good enough to everything. For this, it is very important to trust you and to know you very well. I followed a few courses regarding NLP, here, at home (Bucharest) and I conclude that I feel scary when I think the possibility to know me better. I don’t know why. What it happened with me, once upon a time? The video is excellent.

    Hi Mara,

Thanks for the feedback. I suspect that is because when the site was designed the IPad form factor wasn’t out and Safari isn’t able to render it fully correctly, however I’ve added this to our next update to get fixed. Many thanks. Tom.
